Kiloview Teams Up With Zixi

Kiloview, a global provider of professional AV‑over‑IP technologies and solutions, has entered into a partnership with Zixi, the live video delivery and workflow orchestration specialist, to improve the reliability and flexibility of IP video workflows used for live production and contribution.

The collaboration combines Kiloview's professional IP video hardware and workflow tools with Zixi’s widely deployed technology for broadcast‑quality delivery over IP networks. Together, the companies aim to help broadcasters and media organisations build more robust, interoperable and efficient workflows across varied production environments.

As the first step under the agreement, Kiloview has added native Zixi protocol support to its D350 IP video decoder. Available now via a firmware release, the update enables production and monitoring teams to ingest Zixi streams directly, eliminating the need for additional hardware or protocol conversion.

The move responds to rising demand for flexible IP infrastructures that can withstand real‑world network conditions where stability is not guaranteed. By embedding Zixi in Kiloview's hardware ecosystem, joint customers gain a more direct path to resilient contribution, monitoring and production within existing set‑ups.

Zixi's error correction and hitless failover deliver dependable feeds over unmanaged or unpredictable links such as remote venues, cellular connections and the public internet. With native support, a single D350 can handle multiple protocols to reduce hardware sprawl and operational complexity, while fitting seamlessly into broadcast‑grade architectures. The collaboration is intended to serve a broad range of scenarios from live sport and remote production to news contribution and hybrid IP/broadcast environments.

Kiloview and Zixi will showcase the partnership at IBC 2026 at RAI Amsterdam from 11–14 September. Visitors can see the Zixi‑enabled D350 at Kiloview’s stand 7.A47, with Zixi exhibiting at stand 5.A76.
