Gravity Media Delivers ASAP XP Australia

ASAP XP Australia brought one of the Philippines’ best-known entertainment brands to Sydney, adapting the country’s longest-running musical variety television show for a live arena event.

Across two packed performances, 11,000 attendees enjoyed appearances by more than 30 leading Filipino artists alongside Filipino-Australian talent.

Gravity Media provided the technical backbone for coverage and recording, operating from its HD6 mobile unit. The company delivered a complete production workflow including CCU, production and director positions, replay facilities, and a dedicated audio control room, enabling the entire show to be produced on site.

A diverse camera plan featured wireless RF units, robotic PTZ cameras and a jib to capture performances from multiple perspectives. EVS XT3 replay systems supported live replay, while effects and camera microphones ensured high-quality pictures and sound throughout the event.

Behind the scenes, 25 Bolero wireless intercom handsets kept production, technical and camera teams connected, supporting smooth coordination from the opening number to the final encore.

The show was taped live and will be available across multiple platforms globally, including Free TV in the Philippines, TFC (The Filipino Channel) worldwide, TFC IPTV (VOD), iWant (OTT) and ABS-CBN’s digital and social media channels.
