Pebble Beach Systems Reports Revenue And Profit Growth
Pebble Beach Systems Group plc has reported higher revenue, profit and improved cash generation in a trading update for the six months ended 30 June 2026, with the company saying performance was in line with board expectations.
The broadcast automation software provider said first-half revenue is expected to increase by 10% to around £6.5 million, compared with £5.9 million in the same period last year.
Project revenue is expected to rise by 19% to approximately £3.1 million, driven by the timing of software licence deliveries during the period. Recurring revenue, generated almost entirely through support and maintenance contracts, also increased by 6% year-on-year to around £3.4 million.
Adjusted EBITDA is expected to reach approximately £2.4 million, up from £2.0 million in the first half of 2025, while the adjusted EBITDA margin is forecast to improve to around 37%, compared with 34% a year earlier.
The company said the stronger first-half profitability reflected the timing of software licence sales, which carry higher gross margins and are recognised when delivered. It added that software licence revenue is expected to account for a lower proportion of total revenue during the second half of the year.
Pebble also reported continued strong operating cash generation, enabling further repayment of bank debt. Net debt is expected to fall significantly to around £0.8 million at 30 June 2026, compared with £3.3 million a year earlier, with the company remaining on track to move into a net cash position by the end of 2026.
The board said it remains confident about the outlook for the full year, citing a solid order book and a growing base of recurring revenue. Pebble expects to publish its half-year results in early September 2026, when it will also provide a further update on current trading and prospects.
