Ateme Backs TVRI With SRT-Powered Contribution And Distribution

Ateme, a global provider of video compression, delivery and streaming technology, is supporting Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI) with an SRT-based contribution-and-distribution workflow built on its TITAN Edge solution, in preparation for a major international football tournament taking place in summer 2026.

Under the rollout, TVRI will use TITAN Edge as a single gateway to receive and distribute live video feeds. The setup enables content ingest and secure delivery to local OTT platforms via SRT, ensuring broadcast-grade quality, low latency and strong reliability across public internet and managed networks.

Large live sports events spanning multiple venues and geographies require scalable, resilient transport capable of handling numerous simultaneous feeds across distributed environments. TITAN Edge addresses this by enabling seamless contribution over public internet while maintaining consistent performance. It also lets TVRI dynamically distribute content across its ecosystem, supporting both traditional broadcast and OTT delivery.

This IP-led approach reduces dependence on satellite infrastructure, providing a more flexible and cost‑efficient alternative for large-scale event distribution.
