MultiDyne Launches First Crescendo Audio Monitor
MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems has begun shipping the first product in its new Crescendo Series, introducing a compact yet powerful audio monitoring solution aimed at modern broadcast and live production environments.
The C16-AM-12G audio monitor, which is making its debut at the NAB Show, combines a high-end feature set with a streamlined 1RU design. The system is tailored for demanding applications across broadcast, sports, and professional AV sectors.
Originally unveiled at IBC2025 last September, the C16-AM-12G was designed to support evolving hybrid workflows, including both SDI and IP-based systems. Notably, a recent update to its networking architecture enables simultaneous support for both Dante and AES67 audio standards at no additional cost—an improvement over previous configurations that required users to choose between the two.
Developed entirely in-house, the unit builds on MultiDyne’s expanded engineering expertise following a strategic acquisition that strengthened its audio design capabilities. The result is a system optimized for use in broadcast studios, mobile production trucks, and complex Pro AV installations such as auditoriums and briefing centers.
The monitor supports up to 16 channels of audio with full dynamic range and clarity, even in acoustically challenging environments like machine rooms or live event venues. Users can monitor individual channels in real time or downmix audio to stereo for playback through built-in speakers, headphones, or external systems.
Additional features include redundant power supply support and integration with Ross Dashboard, aligning with the broader capabilities planned for future Crescendo Series products.
