NTP Technology Ships 128-Channel Ravenna Card

NTP Technology has announced that its 128-channel Ravenna card with sample rate conversion (SRC) is now available and shipping to customers, expanding network audio capabilities across its range of professional interfaces.

The new card brings RAVENNA (audio over IP) connectivity with built-in AES67 and ST 2110-30 support to the company's audio interface portfolio, including the Thunder | Core series, Penta series, and AX32 systems. It is supported through a new hardware expansion card alongside free updates to the DADman control software and device firmware.

The update is designed to improve compatibility with IP-based audio workflows, increasing flexibility and interoperability for broadcast and live production environments. The company said software updates are available as free downloads, while the Ravenna card is priced at an MSRP of $2,899.

Support for the new card is included in DADman version 5.8.2, which also adds updates for the existing 128-channel Dante SRC card and enhances support for ST 2110-30 across both managed and unmanaged network configurations.

The Thunder | Core and Penta interfaces offer a wide range of digital and analogue I/O options, with routing handled through a 2,048 x 2,048 internal matrix. A 64-channel summing system is also integrated, enabling flexible monitoring and workflow configurations across different production environments.
