NTP Technology Announces ST 2110-30-RAVENNA 128-Channel AoIP Expansion Card

NTP Technology announces that ST 2110-30 audio-over-IP connectivity with AES67 and RAVENNA capabilities is now available for the brand's world-class audio interfaces, including the Thunder | Core, Penta series and AX32.

This is made possible by the new Digital Audio Denmark ST 2110-30-RAVENNA card which makes DAD audio interfaces more compatible with IP Ethernet audio formats in broadcast installations and applications for pristine analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion, remote-controlled microphone preamps, monitor control, routing, format conversion and sample-rate conversion.

The Thunder | Core series, Penta series and AX32 all come with the ability to install optional expansion cards and/or modules, detailed at digitalaudio.dk/expansion-options/.

"We design our audio interfaces with the widest possible format compatibility in mind so that we can best serve the needs of audio professionals in every corner of the industry," explains NTP Technology COO Mikael Vest. "The addition of ST 2110-30 network capabilities with AES67 and RAVENNA built in, implemented on our new 128 channel ST 2110-30-RAVENNA I/O card, makes our devices more usable for the AoIP workflows in broadcast and live audio applications, as well as giving added flexibility and control for the professionals working with them."

The Thunder | Core and Penta audio interfaces provide a variety of digital and analogue input and output options. All the signals are available in a large internal routing matrix which has a capacity of up to 1,872 x 1,872 non-blocking connections. The number of channels depends on the actual input and output configuration of the audio interface. A 64 channel bus summing system is a part of the matrix. This provides, via the Pro | Mon functionality, unique and flexible summing and monitoring configurations that can be targeted for different workflows.

"In combination with our networking capabilities, we can ensure seamless compatibility within AoIP environments and versatile configurations with IP Ethernet audio formats. The resultant product functionality provides strong support for routing, monitoring, format conversion and general audio connectivity," Mikael Vest summarises.

Additional information on the ST 2110-30-RAVENNA card, AoIP capabilities and device-specific functionality can been seen at https://digitalaudio.dk/st-2110-30-network-capabilities/.

The NTP ST 2110-30-RAVENNA card will make its premiere exhibition appearance on the NTP Technology stand, 8.B61, at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC 2026) in the RAI Amsterdam, 11-14 September.
