Bitfocus And Elgato Partner With Tightrope

Bitfocus and Elgato will join Tightrope Media Systems at the NAB Show 2026 to demonstrate new approaches to simplifying live production for municipal media teams.

At Booth W1642 during the April 19–22 event, the companies will highlight how software-driven control and accessible hardware solutions can streamline production workflows while maintaining reliability and efficiency.

Bitfocus will showcase its Buttons platform, designed to unify control of complex production systems across multiple brands into a single interface. The software allows operators to manage cameras, switchers, routers and audio systems in one place. Elgato complements this approach with its Stream Deck controllers, offering customizable, tactile interfaces that simplify production tasks.

The combined technologies integrate with Tightrope’s Cablecast playout and automation system, as well as its MediaScribe AI-powered accessibility and transcription service. Together, they enable community media organizations to automate workflows and reduce complex production processes into simple, repeatable actions.

Demonstrations at the show will include common municipal use cases such as meeting coverage, where entire productions can be managed through a small set of controls for starting, pausing and ending sessions. The solution also supports both physical hardware and web-based interfaces, allowing teams to adapt to different environments, from fixed council chambers to mobile production setups.
