Avid Showcases AI-Powered Media Platform

Avid has announced it will unveil a range of new innovations at NAB Show 2026, aimed at helping media organisations adapt to the rapidly evolving digital content landscape.

At its Las Vegas Convention Centre booth N2226, the company will demonstrate how its end-to-end production platform enables broadcasters, studios and news organisations to streamline content creation and management while unlocking greater value from media assets through connected, AI-driven workflows.

Central to Avid's showcase is its newly available Content Core platform, a cloud-native system designed to unify the entire media lifecycle. The platform integrates asset management, storage, metadata and workflow orchestration into a single system, supporting both on-premises and cloud environments.

"The industry needs a better way to work, and it needs vendors that understand the economics of next generation media architectures," said Wellford Dillard, Chief Executive Officer at Avid. "That is why we built Content Core – to combine the industry’s most trusted creative tools with intelligent, AI-enhanced workflows to break down silos and enable media organizations to collaborate seamlessly and operate more efficiently. In addition to delivering an extraordinarily high ROI, Content Core was built to help Avid's customers modernize without disruption and transform without unnecessary complexity."

Avid will also highlight new capabilities that expand Content Core’s functionality, including AI-driven automation, advanced workflow orchestration and tools to help organisations better manage and monetise content.

"It is exciting to come to NAB Show 2026 with Avid Content Core ready for market and available to give media organizations a cloud-native foundation for modern media operations," said Kenna Hilburn, Chief Product Officer at Avid. "It brings postproduction and news teams together in a flexible, hybrid ecosystem without forcing them to rip and replace what already works – building toward a future where Content Core becomes the intelligence layer of the entire media enterprise."

The company will also showcase updates across its wider product suite, including postproduction tools such as Media Composer and Pro Tools, enhancements to news production workflows, and expanded cloud capabilities designed to support hybrid production environments.

In addition, Avid will present new integrations with technology partners and host sessions at its on-site theatre, where industry professionals will discuss the tools and workflows behind major productions and the future of content creation.

NAB Show attendees can experience Avid's latest innovations at Booth N2226.
