Green Hippo Launches Hands-On Hippotizer Training At Pixel Academy

Green Hippo has unveiled new Hippotizer Media Server training courses at Pixel Academy, a dedicated AV learning space that blends practical creativity, real-world technology and expert instruction.

Developed by Green Hippo and sister brand tvONE, both under ACT Entertainment, Pixel Academy aims to equip the next generation of live events and AV professionals to deliver immersive, interactive visual experiences.

Situated within Green Hippo's R&D Innovation Centre in Maidenhead – around 20 minutes from London Heathrow – the facility offers direct access to the latest high-performance tools, including the award‑winning Hippotizer MX Series Media Servers, CALICO PRO creative video processors and a suite of high‑resolution LED displays that form an immersive environment.

The first course begins on 14 April, delivering an intensive one‑day deep dive into Green Hippo’s next‑generation Hippotizer Media Servers, with a second foundation session scheduled for Tuesday, 19 May. Aimed at live event designers, operators, distributors, sales engineers, broadcast teams and integration specialists, the course combines real‑world scenarios with practical workflows to unlock the full capabilities of Hippotizer.

Pixel Academy is also pursuing AVIXA CTS RU accreditation to ensure each course meets the highest standards in professional AV education.
