ADLINK And Noble Machines Forge Alliance To Accelerate Edge AI Robots
ADLINK Technology Inc., a global edge AI computing provider, has entered a Strategic Alliance and Joint Development Agreement with Noble Machines, a startup developing fully integrated AI autonomy and whole‑body control for bi‑pedal, bi‑manual general‑purpose robots.
The collaboration pairs ADLINK’s high‑performance Edge AI DLAP platforms with Noble Machines’ Autonomy Stack and AI‑Driven Whole‑Body Control to speed deployment and scale of heavy‑payload robots for harsh industrial settings. The alliance advances ADLINK's physical AI and robotics roadmap and targets sectors including manufacturing, logistics, semiconductors, mining, construction, energy, petrochemicals and utilities, where labour shortages and safety risks persist.
To support the intensive compute loads of Noble Machines’ robots in complex, real‑world scenarios, ADLINK will supply its DLAP Edge AI systems based on the NVIDIA Jetson Thor platform, enabling real‑time reasoning and multimodal sensor processing while Noble Machines concentrates on end‑to‑end integration of perception, reasoning, action and execution models. The ruggedised design offers wide‑temperature operation and IEC 60068‑certified shock and vibration resistance for reliability amid dust and high vibration on construction and mining sites. For high‑bandwidth sensing and communications, the platform accommodates up to eight GMSL cameras with power‑over‑coax, four Gigabit Ethernet ports, and expansion for 5G and Wi‑Fi, ensuring low‑latency data throughput. Industrial‑grade power management with wide‑range DC input is optimised for mobile robotics to boost battery efficiency and overall system stability.
"Noble Machines' leadership in the field of fully integrated AI-Driven Whole-Body Control and autonomy is undeniable," said Ethan Chen, General Manager of ADLINK’s Edge Computing Platforms Business Unit. "Through this joint development agreement, ADLINK is rapidly introducing high-performance computing hardware into the emerging general-purpose robot market. Moving from our current DLAP platform support to a jointly developed dedicated platform featuring the NVIDIA Jetson Thor platform, we are committed to providing a long-term, scalable computing architecture for the most challenging applications, accelerating Noble Machines’ entry into high-value heavy industry markets."
"Our alliance with ADLINK is not just a technical cooperation; it is a shared commitment to our industrial vision," stated Wei Ding, CEO of Noble Machines. "ADLINK’s leadership in edge computing and their industrial-grade design capabilities perfectly complement Noble Machines’ fully integrated AI-Driven Whole-Body Control and autonomy. This partnership enables us to deliver truly rugged, durable, and highly intelligent robotic solutions to our heavy industry clients, making the automation of dangerous tasks a reality."
The companies say the partnership also addresses hardware durability and supply‑chain integration challenges typical of extreme environments, providing added impetus to automate heavy‑industry workflows and enable real‑time decision‑making. Joint go‑to‑market efforts will focus on construction, mining and energy to accelerate unmanned, intelligent operations in demanding scenarios.
Noble Machines' robot built with ADLINK's Edge AI platform powered by NVIDIA Jetson Thor will be shown at GTC 2026, Booth 141.
