MA Lighting Unveils grandMA3 onPC DMX-key

MA Lighting has announced the expansion of its grandMA3 ecosystem with the launch of the grandMA3 onPC DMX-key and its entry-level counterpart, the grandMA3 onPC DMX-key starter.

Designed to bridge the gap between portable computing and professional lighting control, these devices provide a dedicated hardware "key" to unlock the full parameter potential of the grandMA3 onPC software via a standard USB-C connection.

The flagship DMX-key is engineered for high-demand environments such as television studios, boutique performance spaces, and permanent architectural installations. It unlocks 4,096 parameters, providing the robust performance and reliability of the grandMA3 platform without the footprint of a full-scale console. The device features two physical DMX outputs and a lockable USB-C port to ensure connection stability in rigorous production settings.

For system integrators, the DMX-key includes practical mounting features such as anti-slip strips and integrated guide rails for secure placement in equipment racks or road cases. The unit's plug-and-play architecture requires no network configuration, allowing technicians to deploy professional-grade control as soon as the software is launched on a host PC.

Simultaneously, the grandMA3 onPC DMX-key starter has been introduced as an accessible entry point for emerging professionals and educational facilities. This compact version unlocks 1,024 parameters, offering a cost-effective way to engage with the grandMA3 workflow while maintaining identical feature sets and software compatibility.

Both products are built with robust aluminium housings and are designed to integrate seamlessly into existing MA-Net3 networks, ensuring long-term scalability as production requirements grow.
