Dantz expands GovEd pricing to global partner network

Dantz Development Corporation, a leader in backup and restore software, is now offering government and education (GovEd) pricing for its award-winning Retrospect line of backup and restore software to solution providers.
Members of the Dantz Global Partner Network can now offer discounts to qualifying government agencies and academic institutions including schools, colleges and universities. GovEd pricing is available today to solution providers through Dantz's UK distribution partners including Computers Unlimited, CMS Peripherals and Hammer Plc.
"Retrospect sales have been strong in the government and education markets," said Khalid Arif, UK Sales Manager. "With Dantz's continued channel focus, we wanted to enable solution providers to extend this special pricing to their GovEd customers."
"As a Dantz Premier Partner, we welcome this initiative from Dantz. The growing interest from the Government and education sector is centred on a back-up solution that is robust and scalable, yet retains a high level of functionality and ease of use. Retrospect fits this requirement and this new pricing initiative will make it easier for customers in this sector to benefit from this advanced back-up solution," said Andy Hibbs, Operations Director, Systems Support.
Versions of Retrospect are available for environments ranging from the small office to the small enterprise/departmental environment, from a single desktop or notebook computer to a network of multiple servers. Retrospect 6.5 for Windows and Retrospect 6.0 for Macintosh are currently available to the Dantz Global Partner Network of solution providers.
Educational institutions currently using Retrospect include the Open University, Brighton University, Cambridge University, Edinburgh University, University of East Anglia, Imperial College, Leicester University, Kings College London, University College of London and North Lanarkshire Educational School.
