MNC Software Launches Tapestry Orchestration Platform
MNC Software has announced the launch of Tapestry, a new orchestration platform designed to deliver real-time automation and control for complex, event-driven broadcast environments.
The global network management and operational support specialist will showcase the platform for the first time at NAB Show 2026, at Booth #W2661.
The launch of Tapestry underpins MNC Software’s NAB 2026 theme, The Connected Workflow, which sets out the company’s vision for unifying visibility, automation and asset management across modern broadcast operations. The approach is supported by the company's three core products: Mosaic for Connected Visibility, Tapestry for Connected Orchestration and Tessera for Connected Assets.
Developed in close collaboration with major broadcasters and media organisations, Tapestry is designed to address the growing complexity of live production workflows, particularly in sports and other event-based environments where services are frequently created, modified and retired. The platform replaces fragmented manual processes with intelligent orchestration that coordinates multi-vendor systems and infrastructure as a service across on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
Built on MNC Software’s Mosaic monitoring platform, Tapestry introduces a dynamic orchestration layer that enables broadcasters to schedule events, manage resources and automate end-to-end workflows through a graphical, drag-and-drop interface. Engineering teams can define system rules and parameters, while master control room operators can visualise, execute and adapt live workflows without requiring deep technical expertise.
Tapestry supports real-time, event-aware automation, including signal routing, service provisioning and deprovisioning, and cloud resource optimisation. This helps broadcasters improve reliability and resilience, reduce operational costs and avoid paying for unused infrastructure, while maintaining clear visibility into live workflows and the ability to adapt dynamically as conditions change.
"As live production becomes more distributed, more time sensitive, and more commercially demanding, broadcasters need systems that connect everything together and remove unnecessary complexity," said Darren Frearson, CEO of MNC Software. "Tapestry was born out of real-world customer requirements and designed to bring order to highly dynamic environments. It gives teams the confidence to automate critical workflows, adapt in real time and operate more efficiently across cloud and on-prem infrastructure. Together with Mosaic and Tessera, it is a key part of our Connected Workflow vision."
Beyond sports broadcasting, Tapestry is designed for any non-static media environment where workflows change frequently, including remote production, hybrid SDI and IP operations and cloud-based services. The platform supports true multi-vendor orchestration, helping broadcasters avoid vendor lock-in while maintaining centralised control and visibility.
Visitors to NAB Show 2026 will be able to see live demonstrations of Tapestry at MNC Software’s Booth #W2661. In addition, the company’s Chief Technology Officer, James Bloomfield, will present the platform during the NAB Broadcast Engineering and IT Conference on Monday, 20 April, in a session titled From Chaos to Control: Real-Time Orchestration and Cost Efficiency in Modern Sports Broadcasting.
