Macnica Debuts Production-Ready ME10 SoC For IPMX
Macnica will use ISE 2026 to unveil a production-ready version of its ME10 System-On-Chip (SoC), aimed at product developers looking to bring IPMX-compliant AV over IP products to market quickly and at scale.
Featuring a new Machine-to-Machine (M2M) interface, the ME10 is designed to simplify integration while delivering a complete, standards-based solution for low-power, high-efficiency embedded devices.
The ME10 is a 4K AV over 1GbE integrated SoC, purpose-built for high-volume manufacturers developing lower-cost, drop-in replacements for proprietary AV solutions. Its compact 23 × 23 mm form factor makes it suitable for space-constrained OEM and industrial designs, while supporting the transport of HDMI 2.0 4K 4:4:4 video, audio, and control over standard 1GbE networks.
A key enhancement is the new M2M interface, which reduces development complexity and accelerates time to market. By offering control via a simple REST API, the interface allows developers to integrate the ME10 with host processors without needing to work directly with complex FPGA toolchains.
Macnica will highlight the ME10's business and technical benefits at ISE 2026 (Stand 4J530), including faster integration, IPMX-first design, compact size, 4K performance over standard networks, and readiness for high-volume manufacturing.
"Macnica has developed the ME10 as an all-in-one SoC solution that gets you to market very quickly with your IPMX products," said Andrew Starks, Director of Product Management, Macnica Americas. "The ME10 addresses all the challenges of making AV over IP work in an open-standards manner that supports immediate interoperability with other vendors and implementations."
At the show, Macnica will demonstrate the ME10 operating within a full IPMX stack, showcasing subframe latency, resilient network performance, and device discovery and registration. The SoC will also be made available through an updated development kit designed to simplify evaluation and integration.
"IPMX represents a major milestone for the AV industry, and it's the result of years of collaboration across manufacturers, standards bodies, and end users," said Sebastien Dignard, Chief Executive Officer, Macnica Atlantic Region. "Macnica is proud to have been an early and active contributor to that effort, and with the ME10 we’re excited to help move the industry forward with practical, production-ready silicon that supports open, interoperable standards."
