SmallHD Launches PageOS Update

SmallHD has announced a major update to its PageOS software, introducing Fleet Control, Portrait Mode, enhanced camera control, and Downstream LUT support on 4K Production Monitors.

The update is designed to streamline on-set workflows, helping crews save setup time and maintain consistent monitoring across multiple cameras and formats.

"Our customers are working faster than ever, often across multiple cameras, monitors, and formats on the same set," said Matt Eidenbock, Product Manager at SmallHD. "This PageOS update is about removing friction, from managing an entire fleet of monitors to supporting vertical content and camera control in one place. Crews can now spend less time configuring gear and more time focusing on the shot."

Key updates in PageOS 6.3
• Fleet Control – Compatible with the new Fleet Control desktop app, this feature allows users to manage all monitors on a network simultaneously. Users can update firmware, push pages, tools, and LUTs to multiple monitors, organize monitors into groups, and maintain consistent color and configuration across the fleet.
• Portrait Mode UI – Optimized menu layouts for vertical content make it easier to monitor mixed-format productions without relying on awkward landscape workarounds.
• Expanded Camera Control – Canon camera control is now supported, allowing operators to view shots, adjust settings, and access camera menus directly from SmallHD monitors. Compatible cameras include Canon C70, C80, C300mkIII, C400, and C500mkII.
• Camera Control on Dials – On Quantum and Ultra 10 series monitors, dials can now be assigned to specific camera settings such as ISO, shutter speed/angle, white balance, and internal ND, giving crews tactile precision at their fingertips.
• Downstream LUTs on 4K Production Monitors – Graded looks can now be shared across every village monitor, ensuring the full crew stays aligned with the creative intent without additional hardware.
