Panasonic To Release Firmware Update Program For Its LUMIX GH6 Camera
Panasonic has announced that it will release firmware update program Ver.2.0 for its LUMIX GH6 camera to further enhance performance and usability for professional video creators.
The free of charge firmware program will be available to download from the LUMIX Global Customer Support website on 5th July 2022.
Since its introduction, the acclaimed LUMIX GH6 has gained attention not only from current LUMIX GH users but also from new users worldwide. The outstanding performance of the LUMIX flagship is attested by the international jury of experts of the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA), naming the LUMIX GH6 "Best Professional 4K Hybrid Camera".
Working together with ATOMOS, a global company that creates innovative technologies and cloud services for filmmakers everywhere, the new firmware enables the output of up to 5.8K / 29.97p and C4K / 119.88p RAW video data over HDMI to be recorded as Apple ProRes RAW on ATOMOS NINJA V and NINJA V+ devices.
