NBA Makes Strategic Investment In Evergent Technologies

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has made a strategic investment in Evergent Technologies, coinciding with a multi-year extension of their partnership aimed at delivering enhanced fan experiences worldwide.

The collaboration between the NBA and Evergent began in 2022, as NBA League Pass sought to meet growing global demand by allowing fans to watch games on their preferred devices, times, and locations. Evergent's end-to-end subscriber lifecycle management and cross-platform capabilities have supported this expansion, delivering industry-first innovations in sports monetisation and advanced churn management. Over the past three years, these solutions have driven significant subscriber growth, with the majority of League Pass users accessing content from outside the United States.

"Personalisation is a key priority for the league and our investment in Evergent will enable us to deliver tailored options for NBA League Pass subscribers," said David Lee, Head of NBA Investments. "We're excited to support the company's growth and strengthen our collaboration."
