NETGEAR To Unveil M4350 IP Switches And Engage Controller 2.4
NETGEAR®, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTGR) will introduce two new IP switches to its M4350 portfolio alongside version 2.4 of the NETGEAR Engage™ Controller at ISE 2026, expanding its AV-over-IP offering with products designed to meet the practical demands of broadcast and AV integrators.
The new M4350-16M4V switch is built with Neutrik® locking connectors throughout, including etherCON® for Ethernet, opticalCON® for fiber, and powerCON® for power, helping to prevent cables from loosening during load-in or live operation. The switch provides 16 2.5G PoE++ ports delivering up to 1,130W total, four 25G SFP28 uplinks, and four modular interface card slots that allow integrators to customize uplink configurations for each installation.
NETGEAR is also launching the M4350-16C, a high-capacity model offering 16 ports of 100G connectivity. Designed for aggregation and core layers in large AV-over-IP systems, the M4350-16C targets environments where multiple high-resolution video streams must be handled simultaneously.
With the addition of the two models, the M4350 family now comprises 18 switches, spanning 1G to 100G speeds with features including high-power PoE++, redundant modular power supplies, SMPTE ST 2110 timing support, and TAA-compliant versions for government projects. Both new switches are slated for availability in March 2026.
The accompanying NETGEAR Engage Controller 2.4 software, available in February, introduces offline provisioning. The new functionality allows integrators to design complete networks using virtual switches and WiFi 7 access points, test configurations without physical hardware, and deploy projects on site simply by exporting prebuilt configurations. These designs can also be saved as templates for reuse on future installations.
"Integrators told us their biggest pain points: too much time on site, cables that come loose during critical moments, and networks that are hard to scale. We listened," said Laurent Masia, senior director, product management, at NETGEAR. "Offline provisioning means you can configure networks from anywhere and deploy in minutes. Neutrik locking connectors ensure nothing disconnects. And 100G switches mean you're ready for whatever bandwidth demands come next."
NETGEAR will provide further details on the new products and software during a live webinar hosted by John Henkel and Laurent Masia on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m. Pacific / 8 p.m. CET.
At ISE 2026, visitors to NETGEAR's booth will be able to see the new M4350 switches in action, experience demonstrations of offline provisioning in Engage Controller 2.4, attend educational sessions on AV-over-IP network design, and explore the broader NETGEAR AV ecosystem, including WiFi 7 access points, the Pro Router, and the company’s M4250 and existing M4350 switches.
NETGEAR will be exhibiting at Booth 2U240 at ISE 2026, taking place Feb. 3–6 in Barcelona.
