INFiLED LED Volume Powers New Web3 Productions XR Studio In Dubai

A full LED volume built from INFiLED's STUDIO Series is now driving Web3 Productions' flagship XR and virtual production facility at Dubai Production City — a floor-to-ceiling immersive space that ranks among the largest XR/VP studios in the United Arab Emirates.

Part of the wider Web3TV creative hub, the purpose-built stage is designed to support traditional filmmaking, live broadcast work and immersive augmented-reality productions. It offers clients access to real-time extended-reality workflows, advanced in-camera VFX and high-end broadcast capabilities.

To meet these production demands, Web3 Productions has deployed a tailored configuration from INFiLED's STUDIO Series — a modular "studio-to-go" system that integrates ceiling, backdrop and floor LED displays into a single, flexible environment.

For the ceiling, the studio uses ARmk2 Series LED panels, selected for their lightweight construction and integrated truss brackets and pedestals, allowing the technical team to create dynamic lighting and content rigs above the shooting zone. The main backdrop comprises DBmk2 Series panels, providing cinematic-grade fine-pitch visuals suited to close-ups and shallow depth-of-field shots.

INFiLED also supplied DFmk2 panels for the studio floor, featuring an anti-slip, anti-reflective surface and the company’s ArmorLED technology for added durability.

Together, these STUDIO Series components create a five-metre-high LED volume that surrounds both talent and camera, enabling complex camerawork and immersive environments without the heavy reliance on post-production.

All STUDIO Series panels installed at Web3TV have been engineered with camera-facing performance in mind. INFiLED's CBSF (Colour & Brightness Shift Free) technology, high refresh rates and ⅛-scan design allow for bright, flicker-free images with smooth motion, while precision grayscale management supports stable colour reproduction over long shooting periods. ColdLED technology further helps maintain low operating temperatures during extended production days.

The DFmk2 floor modules also benefit from ArmorLED construction, retractable bumpers and robust cabinet surfaces, enabling them to handle heavy loads and constant crew movement. INFiLED's improved LED bonding provides an additional layer of protection, with diodes that adhere up to ten times more strongly than in conventional designs.

The LED volume is driven by Brompton processing and integrated into a Disguise-based virtual production workflow that links Unreal Engine content, camera tracking and on-set monitoring. CVD Productions, based in Dubai, handled the audio integration. The wider Web3TV facility also includes podcast studios, editing suites and recording booths within the same creative hub.

Since opening, the Web3 Productions stage has already hosted major clients, including Rolls-Royce, which used the INFiLED volume to craft detailed environments for a recent campaign promoting its Spectre EV. With capacity for multi-camera shoots and live production, the space is well suited to commercials, drama productions, music content and broadcast-style programming spanning crypto, AI, fintech and entertainment.

The project further expands INFiLED's presence in the UAE, adding to recent landmark installations including the country’s first fully integrated VP/XR studio for Fractal Studio, the region's longest digital display for Blue Rhine Industries at Dubai Fountain, and large-scale LED deployments for DP World at Jebel Ali Port and the OFFLIMITS Music Festival at Etihad Park.
