Phoenix Broadcast Solutions Announces Major Multi-Year Partnership With Calrec

News Image
Phoenix Broadcast Solutions has entered into a significant multi-year enterprise partnership with Calrec as it seeks to expand its global footprint in live sports and entertainment broadcasting.

The installations and systems integration are being handled by JAA Systems.

Under the three-year strategic agreement, Calrec will supply a suite of its latest audio broadcast technologies to support Phoenix Broadcast Solutions’ rapid growth plans. The first delivery, completed this quarter, includes Calrec’s IP-based Argo S and Argo M consoles, the modular Type R mixing system, and the ImPulse IP processing core. This initial deployment forms the backbone of the company’s new portable flypack infrastructure. Designed for flexible, on-the-move use, the flypacks aim to provide the capability and stability of a full broadcast studio wherever they are dispatched.

Positioning itself as a trusted partner to international broadcasters, Phoenix Broadcast Solutions is gearing up for a busy schedule of major live events and has selected technology partners that will support its long-term ambitions.

Founded by industry veteran Siddhartha Tyagi, the company chose Calrec for what Tyagi describes as its exceptional technical support and forward-looking innovation.

"Calrec's inclusive ongoing support partnership is a game changer. Together, we created a multi-year framework of regular training sessions to assist engineers with continued skills development. From commissioning to follow-up briefings, and onsite assistance, everything has been thoroughly considered and executed," said Siddhartha. "Mastering new technology takes time, but the outstanding support from Calrec has accelerated our team's capabilities and confidence."
