KINOFILM SUMMER SHORTS SHOWCASE ON JULY 19

KINOFILM WILL be presenting ‘Summer Shorts 2001’ on Thursday July 19 at the Manchester Cornerhouse Cinema at 6.00pm.
A selection of short films from Kinofilm 2001 from the 6th International Short Film Festival to be held on October 20 to the 28 and will include the premieres of Janey de Nordwall’s Manchester produced drama ‘About a Girl’ and the North West produced film ‘Super David Buscombe’ directed by Diane Keggin and produced by Andy Fraser.
The full programme of short films includes: ‘Soma’, directed by Erica Russell and produced by Adam Parker; ‘Long Haul’, directed by Bob Blagden and stars Gary Lewis; ‘Super David Buscombe’, directed by Diane Keegan, produced by Andy Fraser and Diane Keegan and written by Andy Fraser; ‘A Day Out’, directed by Helen Grace and produced by Pauline Williams; ‘Ghosthunter’, directed by Simon Corris, produced by Simon Corris and Alison Redihough and stars Frank Finlay; ‘About a Girl’, directed by Brian Percival and produced by Janey de Nordwall and ‘Talk’, a short film for the Disability Rights Commission, directed by Mathew Parkhill and produced by Ray Wallege.
The evening will be followed by a short question and answer session with several directors and producers present.
