Ease Live Expands Interactive TV Experience To UEFA Champions League On RTL+ Hungary

Ease Live has launched real-time interactive overlays for UEFA Champions League coverage on RTL+ Hungary for the 2025/26 season.

This rollout marks the company's second major collaboration with RTL Group, following the successful debut of its fan engagement features during EURO 2024 on France’s M6+ platform.

Developed in partnership with Bedrock, Europe's leading streaming technology provider, the new experience lets viewers on RTL+ Hungary's digital platforms access live stats, team line-ups, player data, group standings, polls, and more—directly on screen. The scalable Bedrock–Ease Live platform allows RTL Group broadcasters to quickly extend these interactive features across connected TVs, mobile and web platforms.

By enabling overlays that 'sit on top' of existing OTT infrastructure, Ease Live reduces development and deployment time, from months to days, while ensuring frame-accurate synchronization with the live stream. This makes interactive sports coverage accessible and monetisable at scale across all major platforms.

Interactive overlays have already demonstrated up to 68% user engagement on live polls, and broadcasters using Ease Live have reported viewing duration increases of 50+%, leading to the capture of 1st party data insights and substantial boosts in monetisation.

This RTL+ Hungary launch is just the latest in a series of interactive deployments using the Ease Live SaaS platform, which now supports interactive experiences for leading sports properties including ATP, Gotham Sports Network (covering MLB, NHL and NBA), Spain's La Liga, and Austrian broadcaster Servus TV, a Red Bull Media House company.
