EVS Completes Two Acquisitions Of Telemetrics And XD Motion

EVS has completed two acquisitions announced in the third quarter of 2025: Telemetrics and XD Motion per October 1st, 2025.
The acquisition of Telemetrics, a US-based company specializing in indoor Media Production Robotics, was announced last August 19th. The acquisition of XD Motion, a French company that is renowned for its innovative control systems that enable secure outdoor Media Production Robotic experiences and provides reliable control of indoor robotic arms, followed a couple of weeks later, as announced on September 11th.
Both acquisitions support long-term value creation through portfolio diversification: the combination of the 2 acquisitions leads to a new solution for EVS, named T-Motion, and enables EVS to address a new market, offering a comprehensive range of Media Production Robotics, both indoor and outdoor. This solution will allow EVS to capture the most powerful live video images and emotions.
Both acquisitions were extensively presented and discussed during the IBC event taking place in Amsterdam in September 2025. The customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Many customers have endorsed our strategic direction to launch a media production robotics solution.
Looking ahead
As of October 1st, 2025, all team members of both Telemetrics and XD Motion have officially joined the EVS group.
Both acquisitions will deliver strategic benefits, such as:
A comprehensive and future-ready portfolio of media production robotics, enabling a new total addressable market scope for EVS
Integration within the EVS ecosystem, by positioning T-Motion next to LiveCeption, MediaCeption and MediaInfra
A new generation of AI based – leveraging EVS own AI technologies - integrated tools designed to help customers consistently capture the most compelling live video images whether in the studio or on the field
The strategic move significantly strengthens EVS’s capabilities and reinforces its commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology that enhances live storytelling and operational reliability and efficiency.
