ITV's Derren Nartey Appointed To Lead ITV Content Acquisitions Team

ITV has announced that Senior Acquisitions Manager for Films & Kids Darren Nartey has been appointed to lead the ITV Content Acquisitions team, reporting to Craig Morris Director of Channels, ITVX and Acquisitions.

Darren steps up to the role of Head of Acquisitions this week, following Sasha Breslau’s departure.

Darren Nartey is a seasoned member of the content acquisitions team at ITV, overseeing the sourcing, negotiating, and acquisition of films, series and children's content, across both linear and streaming platforms.

He played an integral role in the successful launch of ITVX, curating a premium line-up of series, film and kids' content to position the platform as a key destination for UK audiences. Darren has also been instrumental in securing landmark acquisitions for ITV, including The Oscars, the James Bond library, the Harry Potter franchise, and the Indiana Jones films.

Darren joined ITV as an Acquisitions Executive - Series in 2015. Before joining ITV, he held acquisitions roles at Channel 5, where he built broad experience across scheduling and content strategy.

Alongside his work acquiring titles to support ITV’s content strategy, Darren is committed to supporting the next generation of media professionals, mentoring people inside and outside of ITV.
