Beamr Launches Its 'Partner With Beamr' Initiative

News Image
Beamr Imaging Ltd has launched its 'Partner with Beamr' initiative at IBC2025.

The program invites media and entertainment (M&E) technology vendors to integrate Beamr's GPU-accelerated solutions into their platforms, enabling real-time 4K streaming and AI-enhanced workflows that reduce costs while improving quality.

"We're excited to present our new partner program, enabling media ecosystem companies to deliver complete live video solutions," said Haggai Barel, COO at Beamr. "As Beamr's partner, you'll be able to offer your customers GPU-accelerated AI quality enhancement from 720p to 4K in real-time. With our Content-Adaptive Bitrate technology, your customers will benefit from 30%–50% file size reduction while preserving broadcast quality — enabling significant storage and CDN savings with efficient AI enhancements."

At the core of Beamr's offering is its patented, Emmy®-winning Content-Adaptive Bitrate (CABR) technology, which analyses video content frame-by-frame to optimise compression, reducing bitrate by up to 50% while preserving the exact same quality. This technology is GPU-accelerated, enabling partners to deliver high-performance and unified pipeline for AI-powered enhancements — such as super resolution — to be applied during the transcoding process.

Beamr's technology is available as both a software development kit (SDK) and an FFMPEG plugin, giving partners flexible integration options. The SDK supports Python, C++, and Node.js, while the plugin can be applied directly to existing FFMPEG-based pipelines. The solution supports all major codecs — AVC, HEVC, and AV1 — and allows seamless deployment on-premises or in the cloud, with seamless integration into platforms such as AWS S3 and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

With Live 4Kp60 support, partners can offer their customers efficient broadcasting for premium users as well as real-time upscaling of 720p or SD video sources to 4K. This is especially valuable for live sports, music events, and other multi-camera productions where high-resolution capture may not be feasible. Beamr is also helping partners modernise legacy media archives in formats like MPEG-2 and AVC. Beamr's GPU-accelerated workflows enable efficient migration to modern codecs such as HEVC and AV1, while reducing file sizes and unlocking new monetisation opportunities.

Beamr offers a usage-based licensing model with scalable pricing tiers based on deployment size and feature set. Interested vendors can begin with a free proof-of-concept to validate quality and savings, followed by a paid pilot or commercial deployment. The partner program supports co-marketing, reseller, and VAR relationships, and includes full technical support for GPU integration. Partners also have access to joint marketing opportunities such as trade shows, webinars, and collaborative campaigns.
