With a passionate base of 37 million music fans, Last.fm has launched a number of initiatives to further improve user engagement and experience and increase advertising revenues. The deal follows smartclip's successful launch in the UK and adds another strong brand to its rapidly expanding publisher portfolio, which also includes Zattoo, the online TV player.
