Van Damme Launches New Coaxial Cables For UHD Video

Van Damme has expanded its digital video portfolio with the release of its new Enhanced UHD Vision 12GHz coaxial cables. Designed to support the latest SMPTE ST 2082 12G-SDI single-link transmission, the cables ensure high-quality signal integrity for demanding UHD, 4K, and 8K video workflows. The new range is engineered for reliability in both fixed installations and live production environments, offering enhanced performance and extended transmission distances.

With calculated transmission distances of up to 227 metres at 6Gb/s and 105 metres at 12Gb/s (RG11 model), the range provides system designers and engineers with flexible options to meet the evolving needs of UHD broadcast. Even the compact 0.7/2.9 model delivers reliable 12Gb/s performance over 45 metres.
