TWO WAY TV LAUNCH ON ITV DIGITAL

TWO WAY TV’s interactive games channel has launched on the UK’s digital terrestrial platform ITV Digital.
Its one million subscribers can now press button 46 on their ITV Digital handset to access some of Two Way TV’s most challenging and compelling games.
Once ITV Digital viewers have become familiar with the new channel the range and number of games will increase and prize-winning pay-per-play games introduced.
From launch ITV Digital players can answer trivia questions and win cash in addition to playing games through their ITV Digital set-top-box.
Two Way TV games are available on digital platforms around the world and play rates show that a popular game can build large and loyal audiences throughout the day.
Managing Director of Two Way TV, Matthew Tims, said: “Games are a real driver of interactive services and have the potential to generate extra revenue from subscribers. Our channel on ITV Digital is fun entertainment designed for a television audience and once it starts to take hold so we will increase the package on offer. Down the road we expect to add enhanced interactivity to live programmes broadcast on ITV Digital.” (CD)
