HaiVision expands facilities in Montreal

Montreal based HaiVision Systems has announced the expansion of its Montreal operations and the opening of its new corporate headquarters, completing the transition initiated through its acquisition of Miranda Media Networks’ broadband video communication assets earlier in May.
“Our new Montreal facility allows HaiVision to accelerate product development efforts and support our global expansion strategies,” said Francois Gariepy, President of HaiVision systems. “We are investing in new products and the delivery of our next generation technology to our installed base in addition to targeting new markets”.
Building on the success of the MAC500 product line (now the hai500 series), HaiVision delivers technology allowing real-time transport of extremely high quality video and audio streams over broadband networks. The quality and reliability of HaiVision’s products make them the solutions of choice for global corporate video communication facilities, statewide distance education networks and other mission critical applications. The largest North American telecommunication carriers and service providers including top tier video service integrators have standardized their services around HaiVision’s products.
Founded on award winning technology, HaiVision’s hai500 series is a leading solution for MPEG-2 over IP and ATM networks with a significant installed base in corporate boardrooms, distance education, and mission critical operational video conferencing worldwide.
The hai500’s quality, flexible frame and blade design combined with NEBS Level 3 certification make it ideal for “no compromise” deployments requiring the highest and most consistent video and audio quality within a system that is easily serviceable and upgradeable.
