Telycam PTZ Cameras Now Compatible With SKAARHOJ Controllers

Telycam has announced that its Explore and Vision+ series of advanced PTZ cameras have been certified as compatible with SKAARHOJ's popular hardware control surfaces.

Seamless integration between Telycam cameras and SKAARHOJ controllers through the VISCA control protocol streamlines live production workflows while letting users easily control Telycam cameras alongside other SKAARHOJ-connected gear.

Telycam will demonstrate their cameras' integration with Skaarhoj controllers in stand 11.B01 at the IBC 2025 exhibition, where Skaarhoj will also exhibit in stand 11.A30.

Telycam's extensive PTZ camera portfolio makes high-end quality and capabilities accessible to a wider range of organizations and end-users at affordable price points. The Explore series -- including the new Explore XE 4K PTZ camera with a one-inch sensor and phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) -- delivers broadcast-class quality, features and connectivity at remarkable pricing, while the Vision+ family delivers unmatched price/performance value for Pro AV applications.

SKAARHOJ strives to craft the industry's coolest tactile controllers for almost any equipment, from PTZ and cinema cameras to switchers and audio gear. Their "Any Panel, Any Device, Any Brand" philosophy drives partnerships that give users full control over multiple devices from a single interface. SKAARHOJ takes pride in the quality of their hardware, ensuring a premium touch and feel with every use of their controllers.

Users can now operate Telycam PTZ cameras with a wide range of SKAARHOJ control panels -- including the PTZ Extreme, PTZ Pro and Air Fly -- while leveraging SKAARHOJ's Blue Pill operating system for custom layouts and multi-camera management. Integrators can configure Telycam-SKAARHOJ setups entirely over standard LAN infrastructure. This approach streamlines deployments in corporate AV, education, houses of worship and live event productions while scaling easily from single-operator studios to large, multi-camera facilities.

"We are excited that Telycam's cameras are now officially compatible with our tactile controllers," said Kasper Skaarhoj, CEO at SKAARHOJ. "We enjoy partnering with like-minded innovators such as Telycam who share our focus on the user experience. We design our solutions to make sure productions run smoothly while hitting all the high notes of broadcast excellence, and the pairing of our controllers with Telycam's high-quality cameras aligns perfectly with that mission."

"Our collaboration with SKAARHOJ reflects our goal of fostering a rich ecosystem for our customers with seamless interoperability," said Jenny Liu, co-founder of Telycam. "By working closely with SKAARHOJ to ensure compatibility between our cameras and their controllers, we're giving users the freedom to mix and match equipment while maintaining professional-grade control and simplicity."
