FOR-A To Display Innovative Broadcast Solutions

FOR-A is to showcase its innovative broadcast solutions at BroadcastAsia 2025 (Stand 5D3-10).
Under the company's slogan 'Connecting the present, building the future', FOR-A will demonstrate technologies that help broadcasters navigate today's challenges while preparing for tomorrow's opportunities.
The exhibition will feature the award-winning FOR-A MixBoard, powered by ClassX, which has received Best of Show awards at both IBC2024 and NAB 2025. This software-based switcher delivers unlimited layering capabilities for unparalleled creative freedom, allowing users to create complex compositions and transitions with just a few clicks.
FOR-A MixBoard is designed to meet the evolving needs of modern broadcast and live production environments, combining advanced features with an intuitive interface. It allows input types to be mixed and matched between SDI, NDI®*, SMPTE ST 2110, SRT, media and live streams, enabling the creation and quick recall of complex projects with dynamic layouts and effects. Advanced DVE capabilities unlock sophisticated transitions and effects, while customisable shaders offer unique visual effects and colour correction options. The system also includes a built-in multi-viewer composition tool that allows operators to create custom layouts for monitoring multiple sources simultaneously. Available in 8-input and 16-input configurations, FOR-A MixBoard offers exceptional scalability and future-proofing through its software-defined architecture.
Unveiling for the first time in Southeast Asia, the flagship HANABI HVS-Q12 represents a quantum leap in production switcher design. This compact yet powerful 4RU solution provides up to 60 inputs and 32 outputs (30 SDI + 2 HDMI) in 3G mode and is software-upgradable to 12G-SDI for 4K/UHD workflows with up to 42 inputs and 23 outputs (21 SDI + 2 HDMI). With optional support for Dante audio and NDI®, the HVS-Q12 delivers broadcast-grade reliability with the flexibility modern productions demand.
Visitors to BroadcastAsia can also see FOR-A technology in action at partner stands, with the popular HVS-190S/190I production switcher featured on both the Ikegami stand (5D3-1) and Canon Singapore Pte stand (5E3-1). The HVS-190S/190I, a portable 1 M/E video switcher, will be demonstrated with Ikegami cameras and Canon PTZ cameras, showcasing how FOR-A switchers integrate seamlessly with industry-leading acquisition equipment. Featuring an HVS-NIF card for NDI® connectivity in a highly reliable mixed SDI/IP system, the HVS-190S/190I is ideal for live events, sports, news studios, OB vans and presentation venues.
Making its regional debut at BroadcastAsia, codename: AiDi** is FOR-A's groundbreaking AI-powered production assistant. AiDi operates without an internet connection, processing video in real-time with remarkably low latency on a single PC. The system leverages learning from over half a century of archived footage, enabling applications including automated subtitle translation, sound analysis, video monitoring, face and object recognition, graphic synthesis, and player tracking for sports broadcasting.
"Southeast Asia continues to be a dynamic and growing market for broadcast technology, with increasing demand for both traditional live production and innovative content delivery," says Robert Shen, Sales Manager for FOR-A Southeast Asia. "Our solutions are designed to provide a flexible pathway for broadcasters and content creators as they evolve their operations to meet these changing requirements. FOR-A MixBoard, which received 'Best of Show' awards at both IBC2024 and NAB 2025, along with our new flagship HVS-Q12 switcher, demonstrate our commitment to developing technology that balances innovation with reliability."
