RHStv Announces Launch Of Tampa Bay Strong

RHStv has announced the launch of Tampa Bay Strong, a new short-form, on-demand series that represents the strength and spirit of the Tampa Bay community.

Inspired largely through the impact of Hurricanes Milton and Helene, the series will ultimately paint a vivid and imaginative picture of the community as seen through the eyes of those who live, work and play in and around Tampa Bay.

Tampa Bay Strong expands RHStv's schedule of original programming to 23 shows and represents two notable firsts for the community streaming network. Foremost, Tampa Bay Strong becomes the first RHStv series to feature all user-generated content, offering a truly authentic portrayal of life in the community. Often, the series will take viewers through a journey that accentuates positive moments that largely go unnoticed in the moment, bringing the joys of a sporting event win, an individual’s personal accomplishment, or a local organisation making positive change to a larger audience.

Tampa Bay Strong's embrace of user-generated content will also at times capture the raw emotions of the challenges and struggles people face in the community. Taking a less-traveled road, RHStv will at first prioritise submissions that capture the stories of residents affected by the devastation that Hurricanes Milton and Helene left behind as they blew through the region.

RHStv has built a new portal into its website where viewers can upload user-generated videos, photos and commentary that portray the impact of these storms in ways that help to educate, strengthen awareness and drive relief efforts. Viewer content will also be shared on the RHStv’s social media channels.

Tampa Bay Strong's emphasis on user-generated content also represents the first phase of a strategy to deepen engagement between RHStv and the community. Parent company Red House Streaming, which also serves as the production arm for most RHStv programming, will develop the current portal to serve other shows and topics on the network moving forward.
