ZAPEX TECHNOLOGIES DEMONSTRATE GEMINI AT IBC

Zapex Technologies will demonstrate two configurations of its popular Gemini DVD Video Transfer system, as well as the Orion II MPEG-2 DVB-ASI real-time encoder at this year’s IBC Convention at the RAI Convention Center, Amsterdam, September 14 –
18, Hall 2, Stand 220.
The technology demonstrations will showcase a Gemini DVD system with three DVD-R drives and a fully integrated computerized image (slides/prints) conversion to DVD video transfer process. In addition, the Orion II broadcast system with PAL input and DVB-ASI output will be demonstrated in a closed loop system.
The demonstration of the Gemini DVD Video Transfer system with three Pioneer A03 low-cost DVD-R drives will show the capability of the system to independently write to each of the three drives while simultaneously encoding an additional project. The three-drive system provides broadcasters, replicators, videographers and corporate A/V users the ability to quickly archive large amounts of data, duplicate multiple DVDs and make copies from a previously encoded DVD. In addition, the system does not allow copyright protected DVD’s to be illegally copied.
