CGI Continues To Expand Its OpenMedia Senior Team

CGI has appointed Johann Rückel to the role of Director of Business Development, in which he will be responsible for furthering the growth of OpenMedia's market position within the Newsroom Solutions space.

His role will also focus on developing and strengthening new client relationships internationally and expediting the global growth strategy working with the OpenMedia sales team.

An experienced industry professional, Rückel brings over 20 years of expertise with an impressive industry network, having held a series of senior commercial positions across the media and software sector, including Autodesk, for nearly a decade and then Avid as Channel Sales Manager for Central Europe.

Most recently, he was Sales Director at Vizrt where he was accountable for leading the sales team with a proven track record for successfully developing and deploying innovative concepts generating multi-million revenue across the EMEA region.
