MCMILLAN APPOINT ANIMATION PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

CONTENT Creation and Post Production specialists, McMillan have added to their portfolio of talent with the skills of Digital Creation expert Scott Brodie.
With several year's experience, Brodie moves from his previous freelance role Microsoft Networking and 3D Animating for Edinburgh's business market to become McMillan's Scottish Product Specialist for Animation and Special Effects.
McMillan are already the UK's largest Avid Premier Reseller outside of the London area, and this recent employ adds to their portfolio of talent.
Brodie's experience with standard design tools, including 3D Max, makes him the ideal person to support and expand the range of products currently available to the 3D Animation Market in Scotland. Although primarily his remit is to target games developers, he intends to introduce media production companies to the new design technologies.
Brodie said: "To my knowledge, McMillan are the only Scottish company to fully support both the hardware and software aspects for the market and I'm looking forward to ensuring that these excellent services are brought to Scotland's talented games producers."
The Scottish Region of Tayside has become a notable Centre for digital content creation. McMillan have dedicated Digital Media and Digital Creation divisions, ideally placing it to offer totally integrated infrastructure solutions to the myriad of 2D and 3D animation companies in Scotland, as well as across the UK and Ireland.
His appointment underlines McMillan's commitment to provide Scotland with a dedicated product specialist for this growing new marketplace. (CD)
