TSL win systems integration contract for VTR Beirut

Maidenhead-based Television Systems Limited (TSL), an independent broadcast systems integrator and manufacturer, has announced a significant contract from VTR Beirut.
The contract is for a high-end post production facility is being headed by Youssef Ayoub with VTR London as a partner. TSL has been hired as systems integrator with a contract that includes the planning, design, implementation, equipment staging, onsite technical installation and set-up of VTR Beirut.
VTR London has been involved since the outset of the project and, as well as being a co-owner, is providing its technical expertise both in terms of operational issues and staff training. VTR London will also be involved in the hiring of those staff.
The post production facility will occupy 1,500 square metres in the centre of Beirut and is being built in response to an increasing demand for superior quality international standard post production services across the Middle East and North Africa.

Lionel Matthews, Proposals Manager with TSL, added: "This is the largest single post production contract that we have won and is validation of our work in that field. This project includes the installation of some of the world's best post production technology with film transfer and colour grading on a Spirit DataCine from Thomson Grass Valley and online finishing in HD and 601 on Discreet's Smoke. Film, HD and 601 compositing and special effects will be conducted on Discreet's Inferno, Flame and Combustion. This project will transform post production in the region."
