Anevia Appoints Vice President Of Research And Development

Anevia has appointed François Le Crom as Vice President of Research and Development.

He will be responsible for leading and growing Anevia's R&D teams and providing the technical vision for the company’s mid- and long-term strategic roadmap. He will drive the transition to a new generation of products based on a microservices architecture through a cutting-edge quality and delivery process.

With almost 20 years of experience in the digital TV industry, François Le Crom brings with him strong leadership and project management skills, with expertise in both software set-top boxes and broadcast / OTT video delivery.

Before joining Anevia, François Le Crom was a Research and Development director at Ateme, a company specialized in video delivery infrastructure, where he managed a cross-functional team of software engineers to improve overall R&D effectiveness through the adoption of the Agile methodology. One of his major projects was to lead the software development team for the company’s live broadcast and OTT transcoding flagship product, at a time when the market was moving to pure software and then to virtualized solutions.

Prior to Ateme François Le Crom was VP Engineering for software set-top boxes and push-VoD at Logiways, a company that provided conditional access and middleware for digital set-top boxes, and Project Manager at Canal+ Technologies.
