Getty Images provide 'Bodysong' footage

A significant amount of Getty Images’ footage has been used in Hot Property Films’ 'Bodysong', which premiered recently at the Rotterdam film festival.
The film is directed by Simon Pummell with music by Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead.
The film includes selected iconic film and video footage from Getty Images archives including Imagebank Film and Archive Films. Through moving images, the film tells the story of human life through birth, growth, sex, violence, love and dreams.
Ann Hummel, Head of Image Search from Hot Property Films for Bodysong, said: “I approached Getty Images as one of a number of key image sources with a wide range of material to choose from. I worked closely alongside Getty Images’ research team who helped me find the most dynamic and appropriate footage.”
The film was produced by Hot Property Films with funding and executive production by FilmFour and the Film Council.
