Telia Acquires Bonnier Broadcasting In Billion Pound Deal

Swedish telecoms company Telia has acquired Bonnier Broadcasting for a reported $1 billion.

Telia aims to fulfil a company strategy to develop offer TV and content to its customers with the new acquisition.

The new business area will be a separate entity within Telia Company. No changes will take place within the organisation when it comes to the responsible publisher role. The comprehensive ethics and compliance framework already in place at Telia Company will be expanded to include editorial independence.
