New Production Company Launched For High-End TV & Feature Films

A new European executive production company has been launched which will target the development of high-end television and feature films.

Created by former long-term Apple executives, Sebastien Janin and Andy Docherty, together with ex-Warner Bros. executive Chris Law, Media Musketeers will initially invest in a raft of high-end scripted television projects, with plans to release up to eight series per annum, representing a forecast aggregate production output of €1bn over the next five years.

The company has already established a presence in the UK, Netherlands and France, with plans in place to create compelling drama for international distribution by supporting the production community and helping broadcasters compete for high budget projects. It sets itself apart from others in the field through the trio's experience in marrying traditional film and TV production practices with digitally connected distribution, social media and data-centric practices.

The trio expect to announce a number of world-class financial and third-party partnership deals in the coming months, alongside the signing of a slate of development projects on both sides of the Atlantic.
