Netflix Teases First Look At 'Narcos: Mexico'
Netflix has teased a first look at its new original series, 'Narcos: Mexico', a continuation of its popular drug crime show 'Narcos'.
Narcos: Mexico will explore the origins of the modern drug war by going back to its roots, beginning at a time when the Mexican trafficking world was a loose and disorganised confederation of independent growers and dealers.
Two images were released of stars Michael Peña ('Ant-Man', 'Fury') and Diego Luna ('Rogue One: A Star Wars Story') in their roles.
Mr Luna plays Félix Gallardo, the new leader of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s, and Mr Peña plays DEA agent Kiki Camarena who moves his wife and young son from California to Guadalajara to take on a new post.
Other supporting cast members include Alyssa Diaz ('Ray Donovan', 'The Rookie'), Matt Letscher ('Scandal', 'The Flash'), and José María Yazpik (Narcos) reprises his role as Amado Carrillo Fuentes.
Narcos: Mexico will premiere globally on Netflix in 2018.
