SignaSys release reprint of ‘TV on Wheels: the Story of Remote Television Production’

SignaSys is to release a limited run, special edition reprint of Jim Boston's co-authored ‘TV on Wheels: the Story of Remote Television Production’.
The first book of its kind on the television industry, ‘TV on Wheels…’ embodies more than three months of industry research, including travelling across the US and ‘crashing’ in on remote broadcasts. The authors canvassed more than 60 industry insiders with significant experience in producing television on location.
Co-author Jim Boston said: "Industry response has been phenomenal. I received emails daily throughout the project providing encouragement, or wanting to know when the book would be available."
Featuring more than 700 photos and 60,000 words of narration, the book is a photo essay celebrating the television industry. The format employs ‘tech boxes’ throughout, providing a technical primer on the industry, as much new technology is first used on trucks, as well as an introduction to production planning and techniques, problems, and skills being examined.
