SignaSys CTO Mark Brown to speak at NAB 2004

SignaSys CTO Mark Brown is scheduled to present a paper at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) 58th Annual Broadcast Engineering Conference.
Brown's presentation falls during the Television Operations & Production session scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday, April 21.
Brown's presentation, titled ‘Deploying Video over IP Technologies in News Acquisition: A Case Study’, addresses how video over IP technologies can be used effectively in news acquisition, distribution, and sharing.
Video over IP, live and file-based Store & Forward (S&F) technologies, holds the promise of increased competitiveness, cost effectiveness, and notable operational efficiencies. As such, video over IP technologies are currently being deployed for a broad range of applications, most notably in the broadcast newsgathering and production markets. This presentation focuses on the application of portable field-based video over IP technologies supporting the acquisition side of the broadcast news industry.
