BRIAN Davis, Chief Executive of the Nationwide Building Society, has joined the board of twofourtv as a non-executive director.
Davis, who has been at the helm of the Nationwide for the past seven years, transforming it into a modern and competitive £70 billion business and successfully fighting off demutualisation, has made twofourtv his first non-executive directorship.
Davis said: "I was delighted to be approached by twofourtv - an exciting and dynamic company which is definitely in the right space at the right time. It is young, energetic and has the all the expertise to deliver video based communication across the many digital platforms."
twofourtv, part of Twofour Group, was set up in May 2000. twofourtv draws on 15 years of broadcast and corporate TV production experience to provide a total communication solution. It specialises in producing and distributing content - from concept, through scripting, filming and production to delivery on the web, or across any of the different broadcast and interactive platforms.
Mark Hawkins, twofourtv's Chief Operating Officer, said: "Brian Davis will bring considerable knowledge and experience to twofourtv, particularly in the field of marketing our intranet based propositions to UK corporations. We specialise in using the latest internet based broadcasting technology to deliver corporate communication to all stakeholders in a more direct, memorable and cost effective manner. Brian's contribution is going to be invaluable."
twofourtv has already demonstrated that corporations can save money and at the same time improve effectiveness of their communications using targeted video content across intranets, and the wider internet. Recent clients include, Audi, Oxford Glyco Sciences, JMC and Cambridge Silicon Radio.
