SMPTE Summer Visit To PHABRIX Announced
PHABRIX is to participate in an event with SMPTE in Thatcham next week, it has been announced.
The event, held on Thursday 15 June, will commence with light refreshments and combine a presentation, live demonstrations, and opportunities for networking amongst broadcast professionals.
Presented by Phillip Adams, Managing Director at PHABRIX, the seminar will review the challenges faced by broadcasters from a signal quality and standards compliance perspective as they transition to next generation video formats. The seminar will look at the migration from HD to 12G-SDI, SDR to HDR/WCG, and SDI to IP.
These new formats will be explained during the event, and an overview of the relevant SMPTE standards will be offered. The seminar will also introduce the new types of test & measurement instruments required for HDR and IP video.
The event will be held on Thursday, 15 June and starts at 6.15pm, finishing at 9pm, at Thatcham, near Newbury.
