EAST initiative expand Softimage|XSI training opportunities

Softimage and the Environmental and Spatial Technology (EAST) initiative have announced the expansion of their training opportunities with new training centres in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Chicago, Illinois.
These additions confirm the success of Softimage’s involvement with the EAST program and will allow EAST to increase the amount of training they provide on Softimage|XSI, the industry’s leading nonlinear 3-D production environment.
EAST has worked closely with Softimage for several years to provide very specialised 'seed training' in innovative and industry standard applications such as the Softimage|XSI software. This successful partnership allows EAST participants to focus on training in tomorrow’s technology, and has invaluably added to the depth and complexity of student projects across the nation. It has also exposed the next generation of animators to one of the pre-eminent animation packages available.
