New Series Delves Into New York's Iconic Sights
A new BBC Two series will delve into three of New York's most iconic public spaces.
The three-part series, New York: America's Busiest City, follows on from the World's Busiest Railway 2015 which aired on the channel last year.
Ade Adepitan, Anita Rani, Ant Anstead and Dan Snow will present the shows, with each programme being filmed 'as live'. The three locations in the spotlight are Central Park, Grand Central Terminal, and New Fulton Fish Market.
It will offer viewers a 360-degree insight into the lives of New Yorkers; from how they get about, to how they are fed, and how they relax. From gentrification and the affordability of housing, the importance of green spaces and future-proofing a megacity, the series will unpack different themes and look at how each location contributes to the city's commercial value.
