Females In Broadcast Unveil Launch Event

Females in Broadcast Industry (FBI) has announced it is to host an official launch event at BVE 2016.

The event will include a panel 'Climbing the Glass Ladder – success stories from the industry' and drinks. It takes place on Tuesday 23 February, 2016 in the Producers Theatre directly after keynote speaker Charles Harris.

FBI will present the panel with leading trade experts from 5.20pm to 6pm and discuss topics that will be prevalent during the upcoming year. Sponsored by Ross Video, networking drinks will take place from 6pm to 6.30pm.

Sadie Groom, founder of the FBI initiative and Managing Director of Bubble & Squeak, said: "After the phenomenal interest and support we've had in response to the launch of FBI, we're delighted to host our first official event of 2016. Hosting the panel at a key event such as BVE ensures a broad range of industry players will be able to contribute and join the discussion."

Females in the Broadcast Industry is aimed at women working in non-craft roles in the broadcast industry such as sales, operations, marketing, engineering and business.

Membership is free and open to all men and women within the industry.
