IDP and SysMedia collaborate on digital solutions

IDP, providers of cross-platform publishing tools to the interactive television market and SysMedia, supplier of systems for the creation and management of digital text services in Europe, have just signed a joint marketing and technical agreement to ensure that broadcasters with existing teletext services will be able to seamlessly migrate and enrich their interactive services onto digital television networks.
The new solution, which integrates the RegieLine (IDP) and Plasma Magenta (SysMedia) technologies, will provide teletext operators and information providers with the ability to deliver their content and services across multiple middlewares and multiple devices through a proven and existing infrastructure.
Broadcasters will also be able to develop more than simple text based pages and will be able to deliver rich content services including portals, virtual magazines, transactional services such as shopping and betting, enhanced TV and interactive advertising.
